Overview

96 Hours Visa: This visa is valid only for 96 hours and is ideal for travellers to the UAE who plan to stay for a period of less than 4 days. This type of visa is preferred by travellers having business meetings or taking stopovers en route to their onward journey. Visa is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

Selection /determination of a visa category is on the basis of the airline ticket itinerary

Please Note: The cancellation charge per visa is 2700 (INR). Cancellation request can be raised with the application centre where you have submitted the visa application and for applications that are approved.

Visa fee once paid remains non-refundable under any circumstances

Mandatory Documets

• Visa Application form duly filled**
• Confirmed onward/retun ticket copy of Emirates airline.
• 1 coloured passport size photograph**
• Coloured photocopy of the passport front/External cover page and Bio Page (valid for minimum period of 6 months at the time of travel). Passports containing special characters such as brackets in the name will not be accepted and must be amended prior to visa submission
• Applicants must provide a valid visa for the destination country they are travelling to from the UAE
• A valid confirmed Hotel booking. Applicant’s name and check-in/out dates highlighted in yellow (check-in, check-out dates on the hotel confirmation must match the dates on flight tickets)
• Coloured photocopy of a valid visa or residence proof if the nationality is different from the country of residence.
• Note: At the time of entry, the passenger must prove that they have enough financial resources to cover their expenses during the trip**

You are required to fill in all the details as mentioned in the form.

Submit it with the mandatory documents at your nearest visa application centre.

Processing Time

Normal visa processing time: 5-6 working days from the date of submission (Excluding Saturday, Sunday and any UAE Holiday)

Normal visa submission time: Applications need to be submitted in between 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Express Visa Processing Time: 36 hours from the time of submission (Excluding saturaday, Sunday and any UAE Holiday)

Express visa submission time: Applications need to be submitted in between 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Eligibility Criteria

Note: Applicants can qualify from any one of the below criteria for UAE Visa Application.

Criteria 1: Travel Record

Applicants who have travelled at least once in the last 3 years to or has a valid visa for countries like USA, UK, Schengen Countries, European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Canada, Switzerland and Japan.

Supporting documents required

Pages exhibiting the evidence of the travel and visa in current or previous passport.

Or

Criteria 2: Financial Records

Applicants not qualifying as per criteria 1 (travel Record) are required to submit either last 2 years form 16 or last 2 years income tax return with a minimum gross income from business, profession or employment, which should exceed INR 2 lakhs per annum.

Or

Investments amounting to INR 5 lakhs or above, in form of fixed deposits in banks or post office.

• Investments to be a year prior from the date of application with a validity of more than 12 months, investments in co-operative banks or societies are not acceptable.

Or

In some cases security deposits of USD 1000 (refundable upon return and after producing the entry and exit stamp in UAE)

• Original bank statement.

Criteria 3: Invitation from immediate family member residing in UAE on family status

Supporting documents required

Valid tenancy contract/ Ejari or title deed of the host. ** Host should have an apartment with two or more bedrooms.

Relationship with the host

UAE resident card of the host

Newly Married Couple:

In case of the spouse’s name not endorsed on the passport:

Supporting documents required

• Marriage Certificate/ Notorised affidavit
• Newly married couples travelling immediately after marriage are required to submit NOC from parents with photo id proof, weeding card and marriage photograph of the couple

Important information:

• Selection / determination of a visa category are on the basis of airline ticket itinerary
• Emirates regret its inability to sponsor unaccompanied minors and students. Dubai immigration will consider applications from minors and students only if they are travelling with parents.

Overview

Short Term Visit Single Entry: Tourist: The entry for all types of tourist visa is 58 days from the date of issue (valid until date mentioned on visa). After entry in Dubai stay validity of visa can be extended thrice for 30 days each. Extension fee is AED 850 each time

• 1 coloured recent passport size photograph with white background, front facing.
• Coloured photocopy of the passport front/External cover page and Bio Page (valid for minimum period of 6 months at the time of travel). Passports containing special characters such as brackets in the name will not be accepted and must be amended prior to visa submission
• Confirmed hotel voucher with confirmation number, applicant’s name, check-in, check-out dates highlighted in yellow for the entry stay. (Check- in, Check-out dates on the hotel confirmation must match the dates on flight tickets). Note that only upto two hotel bookings are allowed for the entire stay period.
• If visitng family or Friends: provide a valid tenancy contract/Ejari or title deed of the host,if the sponsor has an apartment with two or more bedrooms, UAE resident card. (Highlight the tentant’s name in yellow)
• Coloured photocopy of a valid visa or residence proof if the nationality is different from the country of residence.
